Stormy Seas

Stormy Seas

Well Good Morning and a Happy New Year to you all
The family and I have had a horrid flu lurgy over Christmas and are only now starting to recover.
One of the things hubby and I did to feel better was to walk on one of our fabulous beaches here in wild and wonderful Wales ,as my little mum says “ it blows the cobwebs away” The fact that by the time we got back to the car we were holding each other up and coughing like we had the plague didn’t take from the beauty of the beach.
I’ve noticed quite a few of you have been winter beach walking and some of your pics have been
fabulous.

Dark stormy skies ,incredible cloud clusters ,heavy seas and frothy surf

These fabulous shells from Helen Backhouse are a beautiful deep teal with slashes of copper and green … scrumptious, I have linked them to Juliette Mullets stunning misty lampwork by some of my crusty limpet like copper metal clay buttons . A flash of labradorite and a Swarovski copper pearl top these stormy danglers with some rainbow heamatite to add a flash of fire .

So what will you all be doing for the New year …,, have you made any New year resolves …. Mine are to learn more , laugh more ( do a lot of that anyway lol) and to be kinder to myself .
Love and hugs to you all .

  1. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy New Year, full of joy and laughter. And yes, kinder to yourself, that is a very good resolution. Mine is as always...finally loosing weight. And be more in balance. Loosing weight should help with this as well as at the moment I have problems not to topple over LOL. Wonderful earrings Lucy. A wonderful symphony of colors, shapes and materials.

  2. Happy New Year!
Sorry about the flu. Hope you are feeling better.
You always inspire me to use my components in a different way. I purchased inventory from a small bead store that closed. I have been staring at some components for over20 years. Nothing came to mind for use in my work.
You have taught me to look at the components differently and actually how to use a few.
My New Year's resolution is to use the components you taught me how to use.
    😂 I can charge more using vintage components.😂 j/k
