Cool Water Blossoms

I recently made a pile of these little flower beadcaps, and combined them with some of my favorite beads. I love these "lumi" finish Czech glass beads in pale blue--they're like drops of cool water! I combined them with some rice pearls in a matching silvery blue. The design makes me think of a fuchsia blossom, one of my favorite flowers.

I imagine these with a clingy 1930s era gown in ice blue satin, or with a hippie-chic tunic and leggings. Dress them up or down!

All the copper in these earrings (including the earwires) has been sealed in a high-grade lacquer to preserve patina and shine, and inhibit sensitivity.

  1. Gorgeous! I love the peaceful blue combined with the antiqued copper.

  2. Beautiful! I love the watery blue with the warm copper.

  3. LOVE those beads caps..and the bead color choice is so serene. Lovely!

  4. That is a great mix of colour! The blue and copper go so well together!

  5. I love your bead caps with those little vines on them. I want some. Whip some up and sell them to me, okay? And that icy blue is a perfect complement. Reminds me of when a flash freeze happens after a rain and the blossoms are encased in ice. So pretty!
    Enjoy the day!

  6. Where did you find those beads?? They're gorgeous!!
