A Handful of Wildflowers

A pretty little pair of earrings called A Handful of Wildflowers is a project that I created for my stint on the 2012 Nunn Design Innovation Team.

I used the rectangle links from a Nunn Design bezel bracelet with some pretty printed tin that I cut to fit. I riveted these pieces of floral tin to the metal with a floral bead cap for added dimension and attached a whole handful of random beads and flower shapes for the just picked from the field look. These swingy earrings would be perfect to wear with this flirty little tunic in a light gauzy material for surviving the heat.

  2. Those are awesome! I love how you used the beadcap as a rivet, I thought it was part of the design on the tin! It works so well! Really pretty with the bright gold color, too.
