Copper Sun Earrings
I am hearing the old Beatles song in my head right now, and I will be hearing it all day. I tested a couple of different color combinations before committing to this blue, green and yellow ochre combination that just happens to match a necklace I recently finished. The copper clay suns I am sure you recognize as the work of Kristi Bowman. My thought was to have the accompanying beads showering down casually from the focal pieces, so I chose beading cord in blue and teal green for stringing the seed beads.
These fun earrings would work well with anything casual, perfect for your warm weather winter vacation wardrobe, or if you're betting that the little rodent was wrong (Punxsutawney Phil) and spring is really right around the corner.

Fun fringe! Love the saturated colors--that little pop of orange in there is so nice.

ReplyDeleteHi. I am a regular follower of your blog which btw is a big inspiration for me. I was wondering where you get the outfit combinations from? Are these your own clothes that you put together? Or do you use some sort of a pinboard to get these together. If yes, where from? All the combos are just perfect and go well with the earrings you make...
ReplyDeletePolyvore was great for putting together an outfit, and then I started to have problems there. Now if I need an outfit, I can usually find something on Pinterest.
DeleteThanks. I thought Pinterest could be an option but I usually find it overwhelming. Will check out polyvore.
