Sisika

Sisika means bird in Native American and these earrings have that feel to me. They remind me of totem poles. I used Sari silk and turquoise seed beads and wire wrapped them up the ear wire. I used gilders paste in Patina on the copper Vintaj birds. * tip When using gilders paste, make sure to seal them so that the color won't rub off.

  2. Oh, I just love the idea of fiber wrapping the long ear wires. And the colos are so earthy. These are beautiful, Miss Kristy!
