The beautifully detailed, organically shaped fine porcelain pieces are by ceramic artist Emma Wilson who lives not too far from me in northern England, near the wonderful Lake District National Park. I have more of her work than I'd care to admit!
Not wanting to overegg the pudding, I've simply hung them with goldfill jumprings from glossy, ridged ceramic connectors by Robyn Cove and added goldfill earwires. The fine detail in Emma's work has to be seen to be believed.
Available in my Etsy shop if you'd like a touch of Spring.
I'll be back next week in my regular slot - so keep well until then!
Lindsay xx
These beautiful ceramics speak summer days especially on a cold, wet and wintery day. x

DeleteSo pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much x
DeleteI have seen Emma's work only on my computer monitor, but it takes my breath away. There is nothing else like it out there. Good for you to have much of her work!! They are treasures, indeed. I love Robyn's connectors, too. Perfect color for the rest. And do you really have flowers blooming there already?????? That doesn't seem possible! We'll be having a good bit of snow this weekend. ;) It'll be a while before it's Spring here yet. Beautiful earrings. <3
ReplyDeleteIt looks so very delicate Norbel but is remarkably strong. We have snowdrops, primulas and hellebores; the hyacinths are in a pot inside. x
DeleteI wouldn't have expected that. Yes, ceramic strong, but delicate nonetheless. Thank you for sharing that info. Hugs.
DeleteThese are so lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Linda x
DeleteOh these are gorgeous Lindsay!! Love Emma’s work too ❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Suhana - they're versatile aren't they? Everyone does something different with them x
DeleteThese are so beautiful. Love the colours, textures and shapes. Love hyacinths too, although they don't hang around for long. I imagine these earrings will be the same!
ReplyDeleteNo, you're right on all counts x
ReplyDeleteThese are spectacular, long and slender!! I love that shade of blue!
