Hello
lovely earring lovers,
Is it too
late to wish you all a happy New Year? I don’t know what the protocol is, or if
there is a protocol at all. How long can you wish each other happy New Year
after New Years Eve? I am clueless. Ah well, it
doesn’t matter, I just gonna do it:
I wish you
all a wonderful, happy and healthy New Year, full of joy, laughter, cake,
butterflies, sunshine, coffee/tea and earrings.
As you
might know the last 2 years were not the happiest years of my life. But a new year gives new opportunities, new insights, new chances. Did you
make New Years resolutions? I made several but one of mine as always is losing weight. Somehow I never
succeed.
Another plan is to re-launch Esfera. Yep, slowly new ideas are forming in my
head.
My first
earrings of this year are a pair made with beautiful lampwork head pins from Linda Newnham (Earthshine beads). I so love the colors in these; matte beige with a shiny silvery/coppery accent. To be honest, this pair was made in august already. It
was just waiting there, forgotten to list in my shop. Another New Years
resolution: list jewellery shortly after it has been made.
Well, that's it for today. Thank you so much for visiting and I hope to see you again in a couple of weeks. And you know I really love to read your comments, so don’t be shy, just write a few lines. I always respond.

Lovely earrings Janine. Best wishes to you for the new year and all you hope for. :-) I too always have new hope for the new year, new week (Mondays!) or even the new day- (morning!) there's always hope. <3
ReplyDeleteWonderfully said, Cindy, there is always hope <3. Thank you so much for your comment.
DeleteJanine, these earrings are so sweet, my first thought, yet have that great rustic side, too, that blends to create a beautiful feel. I keep meaning to purchase the beads you have at the top, and I never do. Now that I've seen them in action. . . it's going on the must have list. :) Beautiful work, Janine! The weight? Oh it's so much harder than in the younger years! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Norbel for taking time to comment. Yep, these beads are a must have :)
DeleteAnd I agree with the Weight Thing. It is harder when you are older.... somehow these Fat cells do not like to leave my body as they have been sitting there for so long already LOL
I love these earrings, Janine! The ribs on the headpins reflect the stripes on the top beads, and the pop of color in the Czech glass flower beads is perfection...as always! Best wishes for a happy and peaceful New Year to you, my dear, and much love! <3 xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Meridy for you wonderful comment <3 Although I wouldn't say perfection (I am blushing now). That are your designs Meridy!
DeleteNever too late, dear Janine! Hope 2017 is a new beginning for you. Do not discuss weight with me...I believe there is a recognised condition ...beader's bum??
ReplyDeleteJust carry on making wonderful earrings. x
Ohhh beader's bum..I like that!! Well in that case...bring in the chocolate LOL.
DeleteSweet, neat little earrings. I love that touch of blue - unusual but just right! I hope your year is much, much better than those you have just come through. x
ReplyDeleteThank you Claire. You have no idea what your wonderful comment means to me, as you are one of the earring queens in my universe.
DeleteJanine, wishing you all the best for 2017! I love the earrings! Make sure you don't lose your creativity! Peace, good health, and love! xo Denise
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet friend! I always appreciate your support. I will do my best to keep on creating.
DeleteJanine, Wishing you a happy and healthy New Year. Glad to see you back and creating. Love the earrings. xx Donna
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment and your continuous support Donna :) I am glad I am back too.
DeleteThese are so delicate yet so perfect - love how the lines in the Czech glass mirror the lines in the leaves. I don't think you could have made these any more perfect! Happy New Year to you with hopes for peace and happiness :)
