Copper Flowers in Bloom

I created these blooms in copper. I started by shaping and texturing copper sheet. Then I added a blue/green patina. These remind me of weathered finds in a long-forgotten garden. Small Czech beads add a tiny pop of color to mirror the patina.

Enjoy each summer bloom, this season fades in a flash!

  4. Hey, Heather! Before I saw it was you, I was just about to say I made a pair very similar to this in Heather Power's workshop at the Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild in May! :) I bought some copper sheet, but I haven't gotten around to making anything new yet, boo.

  5. Oh, these are so beautiful Heather. The copper flowers have just the right color. I love English flower gardens and these just remind me of that.
