Autumn Sunset

Ahh Autumn...my most favorite time of the year! 

One of the best things about this time of  year are the evening skies with shades of orange, purples, and blues. I was inspired to make these earrings after observing a particular gorgeous sunset. First, I hammered Vintaj blanks and then used acrylic paints to paint my own Autumn sky. I sealed them and added Swarovski crystals and more Vintaj metal to the mix and then voila! I had my own Autumn Sunset earrings.

I think they would look great with this outfit (found on Pinterest).

    Love how you reflected the simplicity and beauty of the sunset in your design. Watching a sunset if like capturing the colors and changes in a fast moving movie screen...so for me - your hammered and painted blanks remind me of a specific minute of that sunset captured - and the crystal dangles to me...are like the echoes in your mind of those last moments of speckled color and light before the sun completely sets... They are simply lovely <3
