Glammed up Eyes

 Hello.  Flowers and sparkly cup chain for eyelashes anyone?! 

They might be a bit heavy to hang on the actual eyelashes (yikes) so I have these for our lobes instead 😆

I've painted the brass 'evil eye' frame in rose gold, pinks and gold.  I wrapped cup chain of various lengths to the bottom...to make them more interesting.  I added the beadwoven section to the top

Festive Sparkles

Over the years, I've accumulated a large inventory of high-quality jewelry components, and as I learned new metal working techniques, I sort of moved away from using ready-to-use parts and favored doing my own. But, these components are so pretty, I decided to bring them out to play, and make a good number of earrings for the Christmas Craft Show last month.

It was really nice to offer them as well as my more time-consuming/higher priced designs. 

These new Swarovski Crystal Earrings were very well received, and I have decided to also offer them on my website.... These are just a few examples of the earrings styles that I made:

Amber & Montana Blue Copper Chain Earrings (Sold)

All these earrings are set on non-allergenic Titanium ear hooks (from RioGrande), and are created using USA-made Tierra Cast components (lead-free), beautiful chains (from ArtBeads), sparkling colorful Swarovski Crystals and tiny glass beads.

Light Green & Blue Gunmetal and Gold Tone Earrings

  It's fun to play and design earrings using the various textural and visual elements.

You can really come up with new fun and flirty designs :)

Each pair is unique (one of a kind) in terms of design elements and/or color.

of the Swarovski Crystals always makes me happy!

Like Royalty

Berenice Bejo is an Argentine actress that I have never heard of until recently. Her performance in the movie The Artist is winning rave reviews and recently at the Golden Globes captured three titles.

She recently showed up at the Critic's Choice awards wearing what seems to be a signature color, by on of her favorite fashion designers, Ellie Saab. But I think that she missed out on a golden opportunity to wear some knockout jewelry, don't you think?

As an aside, Ellie Saab's website is stunning in that you can actually see the entire collection on the runway. His Haute Couture for Spring/Summer 2012 literally took my breath away. Oh, to be 5'10" and skinny as a beanpole. If I were, I would rock his lush romantic looks.

For her most recent win at the Golden Globes, Miss Bejo showed off that deep hue of blue in a dress by Emilio Pucci. The bustier style dress reallly shows off her beautiful neckline and her winning smile. She is so beautiful! And while jewelry from Chopard might be nice, I think that these earrings I created would work well with either dress as well as rocking a more casual look with jeans and a t-shirt.
