Sometimes, or probably more often than we even realize, we are subliminally inspired by things and views we just happen to have around us in our daily life. It is a beautiful thing I think. And something to embrace whenever you realize it has happened.

This view towards the small wood by the back garden of my house is something I never get tired of looking at. I love to follow how the light changes through the day, and how the seasons pass. In certain lights and weathers the tree trunks look almost purple, effect enhanced in the autumn when grass and leaves go
ochre-yellow. It's such a beautiful color scheme.
This is my first post as a regular official member of Earrings-Everyday. You might have seen my two guest posts over the last month or so. My name is Malin de Koning, and I live in Sweden. I am especially passionate about using art beads and handmade components in my jewellery. I combine them with all kinds of other beads and materials. In periods I also like to do different kinds of bead weaving. Every now and then you will most likely see me use my own beaded beads in my jewellery. I am very proud and happy to now be one of the members of Earrings Everyday. I hope you will find my posts inspiring.
All my best,
Malin
Lovely colours, perfect for early autumn.....the blackberry season, dark purple berries and golden sunlight streaking through the trees.
ReplyDeleteYes, autumn makes me long for other colors than summer. Thank you Jean! :-)

I love the title of your post, "Subliminally inspired". You did indeed capture the purple glow and I well know the yellow leaves of the north as we are experiencing fall already at our latitude as well here in Alaska. Welcome full-timer, it's nice to have you here!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kimberly for your kind welcome words! So you live in Alaska. How fascinating. Seems so exotic to me. But I guess Sweden seems exotic to some people too. For us it's all perfectly normal, isn't it. :-)
DeleteCongratulations of joining the wonderful team of Earrings Everyday. I love your earrings! Perfectly for Autumn. Or any season. And I have to say I'm a bit jealous of your view. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Janine!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful interpretation of your lovely view - albeit unconscious! I really love this colour mix - interesting and delicious. Very glad to have you along full time!
ReplyDeleteThank you Claire! :-)
DeleteOn a side note and a bonus to me - your comments often make me have to check the dictionary for to me previous unknown words. This time "albeit". I love to expand my vocabulary in English.
