Dependents

I've been on a big asymmetrical earring making drive lately.

This pair strike me as being like an abstracted elderly couple, each leaning on the other, which is kinda what asymmetrical earrings do.

I mixed trade beads with Indonesian glass on hammered and patinated copper wire. They're available here in my Etsy shop.

Bye for now, Claire

  1. You have a real talent for asymmetrical design Claire! I think the lines and shapes are really great on this set. I love trade beads too!

  2. I think your description of the elderly couple sold me on these - I can totally see it. And the extra long hammered metal is really a striking touch - I adore them! :)

    1. I'm glad you think that, Nikki, because I was worried that the hammered wire was a little like that in some earrings you made a while ago with some Basha beads. Thanks!
