Metal Medusas

These little earrings were inspired by one of my favorite things--jellyfish! I love to look at them, from really far away or through thick glass.

Each earring consists of three graduated, textured copper beadcaps, stacked atop each other with a glowing foil glass bead in amber peeking from the bottom.

Of course I can't help wanting to pair them with a ruffly wrap in amber gold (not unlike a golden jellyfish!)

a skinny pencil skirt:
and some funky black platforms:

These earrings will be available later at my blog, The Cerebral Dilettante, for a silent auction benefiting a special artist fundraiser. Keep an eye out!

You can see more of my work at my Etsy shop HERE.

  1. Stunning! I can not tell you how much I would love to etch, but in Canada you can't get the products unless you have a special Chemical handling permit. Those bead caps are truly outstanding!!

  2. These are actually textured with brass texture sheets and a hammer! No etching involved. (I still suck at etching but I'm going to keep trying.)
