I thought I'd share a pair of earrings from my book, Jewelry Designs from Nature.
Although the season for honey bees has passed, I like this pair for it's earthy autumn color palette. The wire petals with tiny seed beads adds a nice frame for the bee and a fun visual element without adding weight to the design. So cute! You're right they are very autumnal even with the cute little bee!
ReplyDeleteI like these a lot, especially the way you made the beaded wire drop at the bottom. I'm not sure that bees are ever really out of season. In fact they are still buzzing around my winter camellia.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the palette :)
ReplyDeleteexceedingly clever construction! charming as well--the peanut beads look great with the bee charms.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! I am a huge lover of bees for the important role they play in our world! I try to use bees in designs when I can and always tell my potential customers the thought behind it. Fantastic job!
