Well, that is what these beads were in the first place. Before I went ahead with lots of paint and the heat gun. Making these beads is so much fun and it's like Tyvek is alive when heated.
This is my first ever batch of Tyvek beads and not as perfect as I wanted them to be. So I made new onces with other colors.
This is what I made with two soft green/yellow Tyvek beads. I combined them with handmade glass head pins (artist unknown) and handmade ear wires by master basher of metal Lucy Haslam.
Thank you so much for looking and your support for Earrings Eveyday :)
And you know I love to know what you think of this design, so don't be shy and leave some words.
See you in two weeks. Wishing you a wonderful day, full of joy, laughter and sunshine.
Janine

ReplyDeleteThank you Nan :) The idea is not mine. Many years ago I bought Tyvek beads from Carolyn Saxby. As I don't think she sells anymore, I decided to make them myself.
DeleteWell there's no end to your talents Janine! These are fabulous. (Cheeky question - have you thought about making these to sell? :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, that is so kind of you Lesley, thank you. A boost to my self esteem. Oh, I like your cheeky question. Ehhrr, haven't seriously thought about it, but it could be an idea :)
DeleteSuper stuff - and I'm with Lesley. My Carolyn stash is almost gone so why not supply us?
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you Lindsay. Ok, so perhaps I should seriously think about making a couple of beads.
