And then there were two...

Well, I think it was on my last post that I mentioned that I had recently adopted a puppy...well, he really needed a brother so....now there are two. We adopted Rocky on April 4th and he and Rudy are only a week apart (both will be 4 months soon). They are getting along fabulously!
So why am I writing about puppies when this is clearly an earring blog you ask? Well, these two are the reason why I haven't made any earrings (or anything else for that matter!) for quite some time. So, I am going to do a "Flashback Friday" and share a pic of my "Sun Ray Drops" which (sadly) are still available in my shop.
I cut these teardrop shapes out of copper sheet and etched them by drawing with a sharpie. I love the teardrop headpins by Bubby & McGurk Beads. Hmm, since they haven't sold maybe it's a sign that I should keep them for myself? ;)

    Always loved these Earrings (love the beads and the etched Sun Ray pieces) - but have to say, I'm equally enjoying the Puppy antics ;)

    Congratulations on your new family members! They are both adorable! We've been looking for a sister for Molly too- but so far no luck. I want another dog too! :-D

    Omg! How wonderful!!! Look at those adorable puppy babies! They are like 'chips'..one is never enough! Congratulations!!!!..you look so totally happy, too. The earrings are beautiful.

    Ohhhhh love the puppies AND the gorgeous earrings. I'm also shocked that they have not yet sold, and yes, I would say "take it as a sign that you can have them"... why not? Enjoy these beauties and your time with your new puppies :)

    Awesome earrings Kristy! Love the shape of the copper teardrops and the etching is fabulous! The little teardrop headpins just finish the whole piece. Nice! Cute little puppies! I want to get another puppy but I have two kitties right now.

    Awwwww... You are a beauty and those two are adorable! What a great family they lucked into! Makes me wish that I had a dog again. And those earrings are nothing short of spectacular. Love the lampwork head pins. I have a dragon's hoard of them and should start using more! Enjoy the day. Erin
