Type Drawer Earring Storage

Here's a fun storage solution for your favorite earrings!  Cloud9Jewels has repurposed and painted an old Printer's drawer and uses the small compartments to hang earrings. This would look so sweet on a bedroom or bathroom wall- especially for someone who loves vintage like me!

    1. I was just going to say the same thing. Not only are they hard to find now but they can be very pricey. Everyone seems to want one! It looks fantastic with the earrings.

  2. I just love this idea. I have about 4 drawers in my cabinet that are not being used and this is something that I have considered doing so that I could pull them out for a show and put them back in the drawer when not in use.

    1. I have a drawer like that waiting to find it's way to Michigan to the Humblebead's household.

  3. Can I borrow your card idea for the earrings?! I love this! I've been using laminated brightly colored cards made from other artists (helping to support my fellow etsy-ians) but it does make them hard to have propped up anywhere, using a folded card would work great. Only problem for me would me that most of my earrings are way too long lol. I think the cards look fantastic and very professional. Also, I want a cool drawer too lol. Luckily my dad makes gorgeous furniture, so I think I'll just ask him to make me a similar shelf since the chances of me coming across a similar one will be next to none.

  4. I just got a type drawer at a flea market yesterday for $19 (more than I wanted to spend, but I was excited), but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put hooks or eyes into those tiny compartments! It's just so hard to move around in there. I'll keep trying!

  5. What a great idea, I have some of these lying around.
Now all I have to do is find a spot on my walls. :)
