Playing with envelopes

Well, that is what these beads were in the first place. Before I went ahead with lots of paint and the heat gun. Making these beads is so much fun and it's like Tyvek is alive when heated.

This is my first ever batch of Tyvek beads and not as perfect as I wanted them to be. So I made new onces with other colors.

This is what I made with two soft green/yellow Tyvek beads. I combined them with handmade glass head pins (artist unknown) and handmade ear wires by master basher of metal Lucy Haslam

Thank you so much for looking and your support for Earrings Eveyday :)
And you know I love to know what you think of this design, so don't be shy and leave some words.

See you in two weeks. Wishing you a wonderful day, full of joy, laughter and sunshine.

Summer Lemonade

Today I want to talk about life handing over some lemons and making lemonade with it...

I loooooooove lemonade, especially when it looks like this:

Summer Lemonade Earrings by Nathalie Lesage

Topaz, Chrome Green Tourmaline, Yellow Aquamarine, Copper Earrings
These earrings are so much fun in person!
The gemstone drops on the chains add fun movements and catch the light so well...
I made these last year, and they are still available on my website... just waiting for the right soul.

If you visit my website and it's not 'up', it's because I'm in the process
of making some changes to my site and adding on other types of products.
So don't mind the web work in progress if things look a bit strange.
It's all very exciting stuff :)
Stay tuned!

My Yellow Phase

Do you find yourself mezmerized by a particular color or combination of colors when creating? I guess if Picasso had his blue period, then it's ok to spend some time exploring different ways to use one color. It's funny, because I never really liked yellow much. But now I've discovered this rich golden yellow sometimes called saffron, butterscotch, mustard, curry, or ochre that goes so well with some blues and greens that I am using it all the time.

This pair of earrings features components from two of the Earrings Everyday designers. Gorgeous polymer clay beads from Heather Powers and copper clay heart drops from Kristi Bowman.
