DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Finding inspiration in the music we love!
Pink Floyd
Music is only one of the many things that has inspired me over the years . And it still does.
And I am talking years ladies!
Who can forget The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin , Bob Dylan and of course my mojo for the day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, PINK FLOYD
Their 1973 album Dark Side Of The Moon inspired these Galactic beauties.
I first saw these Ancient Gypsy Discs in Shannon LeVart's shop a few months back . I loved them !
I had to have them. No question!
Their rustic , primitive beauty drew me in right away.
I waited. And waited some more.
I was waiting for my mojo to get it together , so I could decide what I was going to do with these gorgeous discs.
And then the spectacular full harvest moon and Shannon's Indigo Crescent Moon Charms did the trick. I hope you had a chance to see that full moon in all her in all Autumn Glory.
While I was in Shannon's shop, I spotted the Blue Violet Quartz points to go with the moons. I added some peacock pearls and labradorite spectrolite that has the most beautiful blue flash when the light hits it just right. And my Dark Side of the Moon Earrings came together nicely.
The things we have loved in our past , our music and the times we grew up in. We hold in our hearts and minds and replay back little bits at a time. They show up in our art .
So this old hippy chick has a wealth of inspiration from the music I love.
